SHOTS

Im getting all my shots today. ive decided to get them all in one "shot" haha. nice one eh? well i have to admit im nervous because i cant remember the last time ive gotten a shot... wish me luck. oh and this sunset. gorgeous. last night was great. this weather is great. not for onion harvest but summer is ending and i couldnt be happier. december is so close! it reminds me of all the things i need to do before the mission. stressful!

GARRICK (ELDER WOODS)

Here is some pictures of Garricks mission experience!
1. Garrick and Wyatt found eachother at the MTC. he tells in the email how he literally had to go knocking on doors to find wyatt and in the process found another buddy from the singles ward! crazy!
2&4. Temple pictures before entering the MTC. i was already bawling at this point! best friend gone for two years. jeez.
3. this picture is so precious! my mom and garrick holding hands on the way to the MTC. only time he actually held my hand too. haha:)
5. He had the opportunity to go through the Salt lake Temple before he left and we walked around temple square a lot. it was so beautiful and fun for our family on his last days before the mission.
6. Dinner a pams house with all the family in utah! so fun for garrick to be able to say goodbye to everyone:)

MISSION CALL

i received my call on August 8th 2013. i have been called to the Guatemala Quetzaltenango Mission. Spanish speaking! i leave for the MTC in Guatemala city December 27th 2013. i am so excited! when i opened my call there was a lot of family there to witness the excitement. i am so blessed to have such a supportive family. right when i opened my call and began reading it aloud i couldnt help but look right at the word Guatemala. this strange overwhelming feeling swept over me and i was so happy i wanted to cry (with happiness of course) i felt shaky and about to burst in to tears at any moment! This truly is such a blessing and i am so thrilled to be serving in Guatemala! cant wait:)
